Open grant program

By small grants we support financialy active groups of citizens and individuals in realization their non-profit voluntary projects aimed at improving the quality of life of inhabitants in the Small-Carpathian region. Projects are judges by consultants from particular towns and granted by the grant committee that assesses the quality of the project and its possibilities to merge and utilize local resources, involvement of volunteers and team cooperation of several sectors.

Criteria and rules for giving grants:

  1. A project must have a community character and has to be designed for as many people as possible.
     
  2. The project must be non-profit, involving volunteer work and with a personal contribution of the applicant (organisational work, financial or non-financial contribution).
     
  3. The project must be funded from several sources – besides REVIA foundation and a personal financial contribution other subjects must participate in funding the project.
     
  4. The applicant must be legally and profesionally competent to realize the project.
     
  5. The applicant cannot ask for another grant unless he has fulfilled all his contract obligations from the past.
     
  6. The applicant can ask for the grant up to the amount of 331.939 € , exceptionally 663.878 € .
     
  7. The project needs to state when, where and in what way will the applicant inform about the project (logo placement at the event, an article in media) and about its being supported by a grant from REVIA foundation .
     
  8. The project must be presented on the pre-designed Application for Giving a Grant form, in the electronic form.

The applicants may present projects in the following programmes:

  • Youth
  • Sport
  • Cultural
  • Neighbourhood
  • Social
  • Open
  • Environmental

EVALUATION OF THE PROJECTS:
Activation of people in the region depends also on a monitoring process which requires subsequent care for the results of projects and ensuring their continuity in the future.
