OPEN GRANT PROGRAM

By small grants we support financialy active groups of citizens and individuals in realization their non-profit voluntary projects aimed at improving the quality of life of inhabitants in the Small-Carpathian region.
Projects are judges by consultants from particular towns and granted by the grant committee that assesses the quality of the project and its possibilities to merge and utilize local resources, involvement of volunteers and team cooperation of several sectors.

THE CLUB OF DONORS PROJECT

The project supports individual donorship of the region’s inhabitants in partnership with the Západoslovenská energetika, a. s.. Thanks to the Club of Entrepreneurs of the City of Pezinok - donors from Pezinok and Modra – we supported projects that would help preserve the region’s folk customs and history, and support sport, cultural, educational and creative activities of its inhabitants. The Club of Donors brings together people who are willing to support the region in which they live in the long run and who have the interest to actively decide about the donated means.

OPEN YOUR HEART, GIVE A BOOK PROJECT

This is a regular event before Christmas. Through REVIA foundation anonymous donors donated books to children from socially disadvantaged families who attend 10 elementary schools in the region and those in the children’s home in Trnava. The event took place in the bookshops Bene Libri in Pezinok, Modul in Pezinok and Artforum in Trnava.

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR AND LIVE ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK

REVIA foundation directed the realisation of a live Christmas astronomical clock with participation of volunteers in a bow window of the Old Town Hall. Tasty treats prepared and offered in a “charity bazaar” by volunteers from Pezinok’s institutions, that were to be used for diferently projects.

CHALLENGE PROJECT

The three year project is aimed at building up the foundation’s assets from the local financial resources not exceeding US$ 50,000. Contributions obtained in the second year were multiplied by the equal sum from Wings – Global Fund for Community Foundations and will help the long-term running of the organization.
